On Monday our Club hosted 190+ year 11 students from Kilcoy and Burpengary High Schools for Rotary Driver Awareness Training (RYDA) at the Morayfield Events and Sports Centre. This is a great program that gives students the tools to make better decisions when driving - and that can only have good outcomes

Wow ... we raised an amazing $2,532 at our Biggest Morning Tea. A big thank you to everyone who attended, cooked, baked, bought raffle and lucky dip tickets and bid on our Dutch Auction. We had a lot of fun for a really great cause.

Today we were fortunate to receive a very kind donation from Minimbah State School of 40 boxes of reading books that were no longer required at the school.

The books will head to a Rotary program called RARE (Rotary Australia Repurposing Equipment) which is an activity that establishes an efficient and effective program for distributing obsolete medical and educational equipment to disadvantaged communities in Australia and overseas.

This was organised by the schools wonderful Chappie Julie and will be greatly appreciated by children in less advantage schools.
