A huge thank you to some of our amazing supporters Michael Shaw - Buyers Agent, Morayfield Shopping Centre and NuWay Solar who make it possible for Eats 4 the Streets to continue expanding our impact across the Moreton Bay region. โค๏ธ

Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to partner with our local school chaplains, Chappy Tracey and Chappy Julie, at Caboolture State School and Minimbah State School to help bolster and deliver daily breakfast clubs for some of our littlest hungry tummies.

Every child deserves the opportunity to start their day with a full stomach, plenty of energy, and the best chance to learn, grow, and thrive. Through this partnership, we're helping ensure that students who may otherwise go without breakfast can begin each school day ready to learn and achieve their full potential.

It takes a community to support a community, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who donates, volunteers, sponsors, and stands alongside us as we work to make a difference.

If this is a program you would be interested in supporting, please visit our website at www.e4ts.org and see how you can get involved.

As a volunteer run, fully registered charity, every dollar makes a difference, and all donations over $2 are tax deductible. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Together, we're helping build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community, one meal at a time.

Have a great day, Moreton Bay! ๐Ÿ˜Š

A huge thank you to Rotary Caboolture for their generous donation of 20 warm blankets to the Eats 4 the Streets team.

As the cooler weather sets in, these blankets will make a real difference to people doing it tough across our community. They will be distributed through our various outreach activities and community events, helping provide a little extra warmth, comfort and dignity to those who need it most.

It is truly inspiring to see so many wonderful community organisations working together with a shared goal of supporting those most vulnerable in our region. Partnerships like these remind us that when local groups unite, we can achieve far more than any one organisation could alone.

Thank you to the Caboolture Rotary Club for your ongoing commitment to making our community a better place. Your generosity and community spirit are greatly appreciated.

Next week is Men's Mental Health Week, and I'll be attending a great new event called Bacon, Blokes & Banter.

Promoted by Medicare Mental Health Centres and hosted at the Beachmere Men's Shed, Bacon, Blokes & Banter aims to be a laid back gathering where men of all ages can connect and have a yarn.

Event details and registration QR code are on the flyer below.

We are absolutely blessed to have the support of the Bribie Island Butterfly House and their amazing team, helping us to continue to sustain our programs through Caboolture, Beachmere and Bribie Island.

If you have an interest in Lepidoptery and havenโ€™t yet visitedโ€ฆ go down to the Bribie Butterfly House and see their beauty in flight :)

Thank you again for all your amazing support

We are happy to announce that the Bribie Island Butterfly House has donated over $1.2 MILLION to charity since opening in 2017!!!

We could not do this without our amazing Volunteer group and Operations Manager, Peta. Not only do we provide a magical tourist destination, but we have also created a butterfly family, where people gather and work together giving a great sense of purpose, education and friendships.

We distribute 100% of our profits to carefully selected organisations who are helping people in need and environmental projects. Distributions are divided:
LOCAL (Bribie Island): 50%
REGIONAL (City of Moreton Bay): 20%
INTERNATIONAL (some of the poorest countries in the world): 15%
ENVIRONMENTAL: 15%

LOCALLY: We help to provide food and emergency relief, fund help for our local school kids and families with organisations like B.I.K.E.S (Bribie Island Kids Education Support), School Chappy's, Bribie Island & District Neighbourhood Centre and Global Care.
These groups work together in supporting our community, so please reach out if you need some help financially, logistically and emotionally. We also bring tens of thousands of visitors to Bribie Island to support local business.

REGIONALLY: Similar assistance is provided through support with Centre Against Domestic Abuse, Eats 4 The Streets and the Butterfly Foundation.

INTERNATIONALLY: We partner with the Entrust Foundation who carefully selects projects for emergency relief such as natural disasters, education, water, sanitation and economic empowerment.

ENVIRONMENTAL: Wildlife Rescue Queensland, BIEPA - Bribie Island Environmental Protection Association Inc., Invertebrates Australia and Bribie Island Nature Festival. Helping with the animal ambulance and rescue and the protection of our native flora and fauna.

ALL of these organisations do amazing work in our community so please check them out for more information. We could not do this without YOU! Our beautiful guests and supporters.

Thank you!

All of our partners are structured so that 100% of the funds we donate go directly to the people and animals in need of help and not taken up in admin, promotional and managerial costs.
