Just a reminder what we do at C.C.A.

We are a Non-profit organisation,we help people struggling with homelessness,and families needing FOOD ASSISTANCE.

Food Hampers are available Monday to Friday 8-2pm, Saturday 2-6pm.One hamper per week please bring a bag and Centrelink Card or Statement.Or if you are in need just come down to 23 Hayes St Caboolture. 07-53094122

We cater for dogs/cats as well.

People experiencing HOMELESSNESS we offer..HOT SHOWERS..HOT MEALS..FOOD HAMPERS & TOILETRIES. When available we can offer TENTS & SLEEPING BAGS.

Thursday- Bacon & Egg Rolls are freshly made in the morning between 8-9 by a lovely group from Anglican Church St Laurence's Caboolture. (Huge thank you for all your support each week).

Friday- Fresh made sandwiches are handed out for lunch.Tea/Coffee is available all day everyday. Bread and rolls are also available everyday.

WASHING..Orange Sky is available Saturdays 4-6pm they wash and dry clothes.

Pets in the Park is also available once a month. Please contact our centre for more information.

Our centre is funded by the CABOOLTURE COMMUNITY ACTION OP SHOP. 35 Morayfield Rd Morayfield. (Cheapest op shop in town) go check it out. For any furniture donations please contact them on 07-53192463.

Donations that are sold at the OP SHOP the funds go straight back into running the centre. We also use the Donations to support people starting over again after being homeless or DV situations.

At our centre we can offer vouchers that you take up to the OP SHOP for things like furniture,clothing,linen,pots,pans,blankets (for people in hardship).A small delivery fee will be charged for furniture deliveries.

For further information contact the centre or come in for a cuppa.Everyone at the centre is a volunteer we are all happy to help.

Thank you so much Birali Steiner School

Traditionally each year as part of the Autumn Festival, Steiner Schools mark the 'Harvest Season' by collecting food to donate to a good cause. This was traditionally as preparation for the upcoming months where crops are less abundant.

Working with Mother Nature, the abundance of Spring and Summer, respecting all that the Earth has given to us, we are showing our gratitude and giving back what the Earth gave to us symbolically through giving to those in need. Through honouring traditions of old, we are able to connect with the yearly seasonal cycles, just in a new 'modern' way with non-perishable food.

For over 8 years, the Birali community has collected donations of non-perishable food items, which have been donated to organisations who provide a range of beneficial services to people who are experiencing extreme hardship, homelessness or at risk of homelessness. This year these donations will be going to Caboolture Community Action who offer practical outreach, support and encouragement to people in the local Caboolture/Morayfield area.

We thank our community for supporting us in continuing this ongoing tradition.
