On 14 September 2025, a post was shared in the FC4WDC financial members-only group announcing that The Harrison Payne Initiative Inc was funding driving lessons for 20 Queensland learner drivers, with support valued at up to $600 per participant.

The program aimed to help young drivers obtain their P1 licence, improve road safety and reduce the risk of future tragedies, reflecting the organisation's commitment to safer outcomes for them.

FC4WDC Member Lisa, applied on behalf of her son Will. Both Mum and the were chuffed to hear Will was to be a recipient!

Today is Fatality Free Friday.

Tomorrow marks 5 years since we lost our beautiful Harrison.
Five years of heartbreak.
Five years of grief.
Five years of learning how to live in a world without our son.
What people don’t always see after a tragedy like this is the lifelong grief left behind. The empty chair at family dinners. The birthdays that should still be celebrated. The milestones that will never come. The silence where laughter once lived.
When a life is lost on our roads, it doesn’t just affect one person.
A mother loses her son.
A father loses his boy.
A brother loses his best friend.
A sister lost her baby brother and best friend.
Grandparents lose their grandson.
Friends lose someone they grew up with, laughed with and loved.
Lives are changed forever in a single moment.
For us, Harrison will never be “just a statistic.” He was loved beyond words, and he is missed every single day.
Over the past five years, we have carried unimaginable grief, but we have also carried purpose. Through The Harrison Payne Initiative, we continue to share Harry’s story in the hope that no other family has to experience this kind of pain.
Fatality Free Friday is a reminder that road safety matters. Every decision behind the wheel matters. Because when lives are lost, the grief left behind never truly leaves.
Tomorrow, we mark 5 years without Harrison.
5 years of missing him.
5 years of loving him.
5 years of wishing things had been different.

Please drive safely.
Someone’s child, brother, grandson or friend is depending on it. 💛

One community, one mission, to save lives on and off the road and to honour Harry.
‘Deadlift For Harry’ - Year six ❤️ We are humbled by the support from everyone, from our amazing community to the incredible support we receive across Australia.

Days like this remind us that ‘stronger together’ is so important in these times. The rain held off, we asked Harry for his help and today we had record attendance along with record lifters ❤️

Days like today take an army to organise and run, thank you to our army of supporters who turned up, had a lift, shared Harry’s story, had a snag and showed the power of community.

This Saturday May 16 💪
Let’s look back on last year as we get ready 🙌
It’s hard to believe that tomorrow we will host or 6th Deadlift For Harry event. Harry’s passion for Deadlifting was what shaped how he went about his week and everything was planned around his training.

Tomorrow we will roll out the mats, set up the weights and welcome everyone to Harry’s Day. You don’t need to lift heavy weights, the day is about community, it’s about Harry’s legacy and importantly it’s about raising important funding so can support families, the community and provide educational programmes to save lives.

The numbers don’t lie more Australians are being killed on our roads than ever before. Queensland is among the worst and this is why we are calling for Harry’s Law 💪

So plan your day, come on down to from 7am, grab a Bacon and Egg roll, check out Harry’s merch and most importantly share the day with us as we honour Harry. There is so much planned and we will have plenty for the kids.
