Moreton club champion Ron McKiernan will be having a major clearance sale of stock birds next Sunday April 19 at the Moreton Club rooms.
Ron has raced the past 2 seasons with the QPF with great success, winning 3 Federation events from the West line in 2025, to follow 2 Federation wins from the north in the 2024 season - cut short by serious illness, that is also the driving force behind the major reduction of stock.
In addition to the Fed wins in 2025, Ron was also the QPF Sprint champion, 5th in the overall Fed points and 9th in the middle distance points. Additional to all this success was Ron taking home the QPF Bird of the year trophy.
While racing with the Moreton combine Ron was a regular for the best velocity on the truck for all participants in the Combine.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for quality stock birds based generally around birds obtained from NRC leading Flyer Garry White.
Sale will be at the Moreton Club rooms with viewing at 11am and sale commencing at noon.
The Moreton Club is located at the Findlay St Sports Ground Burpengary. Enter by the sign posted lane to the sports ground and the rooms are just past the bitumen parking lot.
