Our rescue team drive thousands of kilometres per month picking up injured, sick or orphaned koalas, delivering them to the Wildlife Hospital aswell as transfer them to carers and/or release sites.

Lucky for Muddles it was low tide. He found himself trapped in a very muddy and steep drain. He’s been sent off for a vet check 🤞🐨❤️

Lorraine & her joey are in the median strip on Gympie Rd Lawnton, she's currently moving along the trees between Four Mile Creek & Battery World/Paisley Park. Rescue groups are monitoring the situation but please, please slow down & drive with care. A minute or two extra on your commute could save their lives 🙏🐨🌳❤️

Again and again and again... hit and left, found by someone else who stopped, called and stayed until we got there! The message simply is not getting through. Sadly, this poor girl didn't make it 💔🐨😡

Bermuda was hit and left for dead on Narangba Rd this morning by a heartless driver 😡 Thankfully a couple of caring souls stopped, called and moved him off the road so he wouldn't be hit again 🙏 We owe it to our wildlife to do better, yet this continues to happen almost every day. Please slow down and call if you hit a koala or any wildlife. Climb high Bermuda 💔🐨💔

We can’t say it enough, habitat and wildlife corridors must be taken into consideration before any clearing for development is approved. Where are they meant to go when there’s nothing left for them? Planting offsets don’t help koalas in already cleared areas. It’s an absolute privilege to see a koala and scenes like this are becoming more and more common 🐨😭🌳
