🕊️ A GATHERING FOR PEACE – BEENLEIGH 🕊️

On Saturday 5th September, from 5pm–6pm, our community will come together at Beenleigh Town Square for a peaceful hour of reflection, remembrance and hope.

We will remember the lives lost and those harmed by reckless behaviour in our community.
We’ve had enough. No more.

No more accepting fear, harm and behaviour that puts our families and our community at risk.
This is not a protest.

It is a peaceful gathering of local residents coming together to say:
🕊️ We want peace.
🕊️ We want safety.
🕊️ We want better.

Bring your family, friends and neighbours and stand with your community.

This is about creating a Beenleigh — and a Logan — that is safe, vibrant, welcoming and family-friendly, where our community can feel comfortable coming together and enjoying the places we call home.

🎸 CALLING ALL MUSICIANS, ASPIRING MUSICIANS & MUSIC LOVERS! 🥁🎤

Have you always wanted to play in a band, practise with other musicians, or simply make some noise and have fun? 🎶 Our NEW Band Practise Program is starting at Bethania Community Centre!

🗓️ Every Tuesday (BEGINNING 15TH SEPTEMBER)
⏰ 3:00pm – 4:00pm
💲 $20 Per Band Per Hour

Your session includes:

🎸 Use of equipment (Drums, Electric Drums, Electric Guitar, Microphone, AMPS, PA System, Keyboard)
🏠 Use of the hall
⚡ Electricity
🙌 Supervision and assistance from our friendly staff

Whether you're experienced, just starting out, or looking to connect with other local musicians, this is a fantastic opportunity to make music, make friends and make memories! 🎵

💛🌟 LET’S TURN BETHANIA GOLDEN! 🌟💛

This September Bethania Community Centre is going GOLD!🎗️

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we are joining the fight to raise money for the Childhood Cancer Foundation and support childhood cancer research. 💛

🌟AND WE WANT YOU TO BE PART OF IT!🌟

All throughout September, you can pop into Bethania Community Centre and add your name, your family’s name, a message of love, or simply show your support by purchasing:

⭐$2 Golden Star or Golden Ribbon
🌟$5 LARGE Golden Star

Then… HANG IT ON OUR WALL!💛

Our goal?

👉 By the end of September, we want our walls to be COMPLETELY GOLDEN! ✨✨✨

Every little star and ribbon will represent someone in our community who has chosen to stand beside children and families affected by childhood cancer.
