It's all happening this long weekend at Bathurst parkrun! We're celebrating Kelso High Campus - Denison College 50th anniversary with a whole stack of the volunteers this week either students, teachers, staff or parents - past and present.

We're also celebrating the 22nd anniversary of parkrun around the world - that calls for a tutu for the 22 don't you think? Or perhaps bring 2 new friends to parkrun?

If that's not enough, we also have pacers! The team at RUN RIOT have put together a crew to help you hit your target - a bit of a tune up in the lead up to the Mount Panorama Punish!

See? I told you it was all happening!

What a great initiative for women and girls in regional and rural Australia. The Office of Sport and parkrun Australia have collaborated for Safe Strides.

Occasionally we need a callout for a few more volunteers - this coming Saturday we're still short a couple of marshals. If you can help, please let us know below. It's a simple role, no experience necessary and a fun way to watch parkrun happen, especially if you're injured or can't run this week.

What a beautiful spring morning for a run or walk at Bathurst parkrun - there actually were a few sneaky milestones this morning, notably Jacinta Rivett with 350 and Alice Wood reaching 150, well done! Also some well-deserved PBs, congratulations Sharyn! Some more pics to follow.

It's been about 9 years since Kelso High Campus - Denison College last had a volunteer takeover at parkrun, but in celebrating the school's 50th anniversary this year, it's time. Saturday 3rd Oct we'd love to cover our volunteer roles with past and present students, parents, teachers and staff.

Please comment below which role you'd like (and perhaps tell us your involvement). To add to the fun Wes Gibson (KHS, late 90s??) is lining up our volunteer pacers with his RunRiot crew!
