The Neighbourhood Centre’s purpose is to connect people, resources and ideas to support individuals and strengthen their communities. If you are not sure where to go for help or you would like to become more active in the community, The Neighbourhood Centre has a huge array of information about local associations, interest groups, leisure activities, self-help groups and community services. eighbourhood Centre remains a key link in the Bathurst community. The Neighbourhood Centre started 40 years ago as BINC (Bathurst Information and Neighbourhood Centre) providing information about service and activities in Bathurst and surrounding areas and they are still doing this today and much more.

A Volunteer at The Neighbourhood Centre (96 Russell Street, Bathurst) can help you gain more experience practicing English/Australian conversation.

Lessons are for an hour per week and you can tell your tutor what you need help with eg. Australian culture, working in Australia, Australia way of living etc.
