Ken Connor , Jye Andersen , Paul Spiers and myself attended this yesterday , it was a terrific event and a great way to get our Landcare story out to Politicians of all sides of Parliament .

POA Social club was of great interest to Politicians, Landcare and Enviromental groups

Queen’s Hall at Parliament House is abuzz with all things Landcare today.

This fantastic event, hosted by the Victorian Parliamentary Friends of Landcare and supported by Landcare Victoria and the Victorian Environment Friends Network, provides an opportunity for landcare groups and environmental volunteering organisations to showcase their incredible work at Parliament House!

Landcare really does bring all generations together. What a fantastic photo capturing this from Julie K in Morrisons, Victoria! 📷

“We were delighted to see so many locals turn up when we called for help to revegetate a remote stretch of riverside for platypus habitat. We rely on local community grants and local people to join us in delivering these environmental projects.”

In the lead-up to Landcare Week (3–9 August), we’re inviting you to share your story through Landcare Through the Lens – a national photo campaign capturing what landcare looks and feels like where you live. ✍️
