We are halfway through our ARTFIT workshops! Last week, the participants made tote bags out of jeans, talk about upcycling!

Thanks to our facilitator, Gary, and assistant facilitator Sky, the Artfit crew has learned sewing basics and is beginning to create their own pieces for a Fashion Show!

Keep your eyes peeled for the date announcement...

Have you heard the news? We have a new RESPECT video to share!

Chullora Public School wrote a song called Trapped Inside, a song to advocate against Domestic Violence and shed a light on how attitudes towards women contribute to cycles of abuse and domestic violence.

RESPECT Music Video Alertโ€ผ ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽถ

Condell Park Public School wrote a song titled "Good Future Lives".

The sign centres around Stereotypes and focuses on the stereotype that girls can't play sports, which they know is not true, as they have incredible athletes in their school (who also happen to be girls).

They are starting conversations about teaching the next generation about how everyone can have โ€˜good future lives, โ€™ showing young kids that it is never right to perpetuate negative stereotypes against women.

We are beyond proud of the Georges Hall Public School boys who wrote a powerful song titled 'We Need To Open Our Eyes.'

They highlight a simple but important truth: domestic violence is everyoneโ€™s problem. Itโ€™s not something we can ignore or turn away from. We all have a responsibility to speak up, take action and stand against it when we see it in our society.

These boys performed their track at our RESPECT and UNITY Showcase in 2025 to a roaring crowd. Their confidence on stage matched the strength of their message!

Women should always be treated equally. These young men are leading by example and setting a new standard of respect within their school and their community.
