💚 Happy Father’s Day 💚

We had an awesome Father’s Day night with our Joeys and their dads, and grandads — full of laughs, teamwork, and plenty of memorable moments. We’ve shared a few photos below that capture the fun and the spirit of the evening.

We will be at Bunnings Warehouse Padstow tomorrow (Sunday 30th August) raising funds to send our Scouts to AJ 2028 - 27th Australian Jamboree. Swing past and say hi, and grab a snag or 2!

🎭✨ Our Joey Scouts are currently working towards their Special Interest Area Badge in Art and Literature, exploring the exciting world of performing arts!

This week, we were lucky to have Krystal and Dexter join us to teach the Joeys the iconic dance routine from Thriller. 🧟‍♂️🕺 The Joeys had a fantastic time learning the moves, building confidence, expressing themselves through dance, and stepping out of their comfort zones.

It's been wonderful to see the Joeys discovering different aspects of the performing arts and developing new skills while having plenty of fun along the way.

A huge thank you to Krystal and Dexter for sharing their time, energy, and talents with our Joey Scouts and helping make this activity such a memorable experience. 👏⭐

🪢Central Hub South Met Pioneering Camp 🪢

Last weekend, Joshua and Skip proudly represented 2nd Panania Scouts at the Central Hub South Met Pioneering Camp.

From setting up camp to building a suspension bridge, Vomitron, and camp table, it was a fantastic weekend of hands-on learning, teamwork, and adventure. The camp helped participants develop their pioneering and bushcraft skills.

Well done Joshua and Skip for embracing the challenge and making the most of this amazing opportunity!

Also, we should make a special mention to Kim, who catered this event to keep all of our Scouts and Leaders bellies full and give them the energy to have a wonderful time!

🚋 A big adventure for 2nd Panania Joeys today!
Our Joeys headed to the Sydney Tramway Museum to join lots of other Joey Scouts from across South Met Region. We explored the museum, enjoyed a ride on one of the historic trams, and had a blast taking part in wide‑game activities.

Perfect weather, plenty of smiles, and an amazing day of learning, friendship, and fun — exactly what Joey Scouts is all about 🌟💚

National Science Week - Seeds of Science

The Joeys enjoyed exploring National Science Week with a forensic science theme.

They enjoyed uncovering secret messages, learning about fantastic fingerprints, using a magic spotlights and being blood detectives. 🕵️‍♀️

We hit the slopes over the weekend for our annual Snow Trip! Such a great time, incredible group of people, plenty of snowmen made and a fun way to experience snow (for the first time for some)! Save the date for 2027: 13-15 Aug!!

On Tuesday night our Cubs participated in the annual Georges River / East Hills District Campfire.
This year we had The Gymea Rovers doing MC duties, fresh from their performances at the recent South Metropolitan Region, Scouts NSW, Kirrawee Gang Show.
Young Cub singing voices were provided by the hosts 2nd Mortdale, plus guests from 1st Oatley Bay and our own 2nd Panania.
There was also inventive new Skits from the Cub Packs.
A big thank you to 2nd Mortdale Scout Group. Joeys, Cubs and Scouts for providing their Hall and a fire to keep us warm.
