Solid Mob - A Strong, Healthy and Empowered Goori Community

Solid Mob - A Strong, Healthy and Empowered Goori Community Bullinah Aboriginal Health Service acknowledges the traditional Custodians of the Bundjalung nation.

The Regional Tackling Indigenous Smoking program is delivering to***co education workshops and activities in the Bundjalung and Yaegl Nations, the Far North Coast Area of NSW. Our aim is to educate, encourage and empower our Indigenous Communities to make healthy lifestyle choices. We want to work together with our local communities and organisations to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle,

and educate people on the health impacts of smoking to***co, and more importantly supporting our community in kicking to***co. We want to empower our communities to make lifestyle choices that will benefit your health and your family’s health. At the end of the day we all know healthy communities lead to a healthy culture and a healthy country

I am delighted to express my utmost pride in these women, who were nominated to create a collective piece to be displayed at the Lismore Regional Art Gallery in observance of Mental Health Month. Today, they were extended a special invitation to a preview event. The women crafted a stunning dream catcher that symbolizes their love, connection, and struggles with their shared mental health journeys. This piece serves as a testament to the strength they have discovered through their participation in the Wednesday Bullinah Busy Bees group. I encourage everyone to visit their display from October 30th to November 2nd, between 10am-4pm, except for Thursday, when the hours will be 10am-6pm, featuring live music, refreshments, snacks, weaving, and more.
