Environmental Services has been completing some infill plantings for a client.

These pics really demonstrate the advantages of planting pioneer species such as Acacias. You can see they've shot up, creating a supportive environment for their friends! 🤗

IT'S HAPPENING!
We've been excited for these Thrift-leaved triggerplants (Stylidium armeria) to flower and they're almost there!

The clumping, structural base sends extraordinary spires up that produce dainty hot pink blossoms.

It's botanical moments like this that defy any gloomy mood ☺️

During our Bites for Biodiversity Fundraiser last week , ATG was able to take a moment to honour Greg Clarke with a Lifetime Membership to the organisation.

Greg Clarke joined the ATG in 1994 and was Honorary Treasurer from 1994-1999,
Public Officer from 1998-2007 and Audit reviewer from 2019-2025.
Greg worked hard to attain charitable status for the Tree Group during his time as
Treasurer.

Indeed, the Clarke family have contributed enormously to ATG, with Narelle (Nel) Clarke (née Taylor) joining ATG in 1987 and having an active membership from 1987-1995, 2005, 2019-2026; serving as Committee Secretary 1990, 1994 and from 2019-2025.

Nel is also Life Member of the ATG and following her and Greg's recent move to Port Macquarie, these are two members of our community who are sorely missed. We thank them for their contributions to our mission and wish them well for their next exciting phase somewhere with warmer Winters! 🌴
