Wow - not something that we’d thought about but fabric does keep better than veggies (maybe don’t store fabric in the fridge though)!! Note to self - buy more fabric!! 🥰🥰

Our general meeting is on this Saturday 18 July at the Lorraine Bedella Seniors Centre, 60 Walker Close, Altona North from 12pm - 4pm. Bring your hand sewing, your favourite cup and a small plate of afternoon tea to share - and your Show 'n Tell (of course - the best part!)

Seabreeze Quilters are hosting a workshop with Véronique Diligent of Veronique's Quilt Designs and we have chosen her pattern, Modular Garden https://wattlebird.com.au/products/modular-garden for the workshop on Saturday 1 August from 10am - 3.30pm at the Lorraine Bedella Seniors Centre, 60 Walker Close, Altona North. Message us if you are interested in attending the workshop - guests welcome ($60 for guests, $40 for members).

Modular Garden is a fun and versatile project, using bright and modern fabrics with a hint of embroidery. The fun part of this pattern is that each quilt will be different as it all depends where you will be placing your blocks. Make a small garden or a big one, the border can be adapted to any size...

Our de-STASH event is on Saturday 4 July from 10am - 3pm at the Lorraine Bedella Seniors Centre, 60 Walker Close, Altona North. We have an abundance of stall holders ready to share their treasures with you (bring your shopping bags) - stay for a cuppa with us and bring your hand sewing if you'd like to stay a while longer!
