Starting tomorrow is this week-long program of events celebrating love, life and death, made possible thanks to community support through last year's Give2Give campaign. 🌹🙏🤩

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone tomorrow night to the opening of the Día de Mu***os shrine, celebrating the memories of those we've loved. 🌟

Tomorrow's celebration kicks off a week of events - continuing on Sunday we will listen together around the shrine to a talk 'No One Here Gets Out Alive', then a special edition of Campfire Reflection on Wednesday, and more events the following weekend.

All events listed here are free community events for all ages.

This year's Día de Mu***os celebration is supported by the GIVE2GIVE 2025 grant by the Mparntwe Alice Springs Community Foundation. 🙏

What a day! 🚙🧭 A massive thank you to the Outback 4WD Club for running the Scavenger Hunt and raising funds for Give2Give. They hit their fundraising target, too!

There's still time to grab a ticket, round up your crew and get ready for a day of clues, challenges, local trivia and a bit of 4WD fun around Mparntwe. Every ticket helps fund local ideas and projects through Give2Give.

Check out our First Anniversary Come to Dinner!

Last Friday night was fabulous with 50 people attending the latest and one year anniversary event of Come to Dinner, welcoming newcomers to Alice Springs and the region.

We had people from very different backgrounds, different ages and those who have been in Alice from 2 weeks to many years – it was a great mix. This was also an October Business Month event with Northern Territory Government, and we thank them as well as Yaye's Cafe, Rotary Club of Alice Springs and Araluen Arts Centre for their support.

Looking forward to seeing any of our Come to Dinner attendees from any time at out Come to Coffee too – 31st October, 10.30am at Water Tank Café – just show up, buy a coffee and have a chat with other newcomers.

The Outback 4wd Club is hosting a Scavenger Hunt around town, and every ticket helps to fund local ideas and projects through our Give2Give initiative.

The people who helped.
The things they wish they'd known when they arrived.
And the things they've discovered they love about living here.

That's part of the conversation we'll be having at Come to Dinner – Welcome to Alice!

We'll hear from employers and new workers who have relocated themselves, sharing honestly about their experiences of making the move and building a life in Central Australia.

And we'd love everyone around the tables to be part of the conversation too.
Then it's time to relax, meet people and enjoy a barbecue supplied by the Rotary Club of Alice Springs, with Yaye’s Cafe supporting us with its fantastic outdoor venue and Araluen Arts Centre providing the bar.

No long presentations. No formal networking.

Just some interesting stories, good conversations, a barbecue and a community night out.
