At Joanneum Racing Graz students spend the time of their lives as a sworn community.

Every year, they design and build new JR-race cars to compete in international Formula Student competitions mostly across Europe with design and know-how. Die Weasels – so nennen sich die Teammitglieder selbst – verbringen Tag für Tag mit der Entwicklung, Fertigung und Vermarktung ihres Boliden. Um frischen Wind und Altbewährtes zu vereinen, wechselt das Team jährlich – wird jedoch durch ältere We

asels und deren Know-How unterstützt. Am Projekt beteiligt ist hauptsächlich der Studiengang „Fahrzeugtechnik“, aber Studierende anderer Studiengänge wie „Elektronik & Technologiemanagement“, "Management internationaler Geschäftsprozesse", „Journalismus & Public Relations“, „Industrial Design“, "Industriewirtschaft", „Informationsdesign“, „Produktionstechnik & Organisation“ und „Physiotherapie“ sind Teil des Teams.

Day 3 kicked off with dynamic scrutineering, working through weighing, the tilt test, and the rain test. 💪🏼❤️ With steady progress throughout the day, with the brake test still ahead of us tomorrow. We also delivered our business plan presentation today, they did a great job and we’re now waiting for the results. 📊 We closed out the day the best way possible: chilling by the river next to our camp, soaking up some well-earned downtime after a packed schedule. 🌊☀️

Today was all about static scrutineering, and we’re proud to say the team passed every single check: accumulator scrutineering, EV scrutineering, charging inspection, and mechanical scrutineering. ❤️‍🔥🏎️ What a great way to start the competition week. 🥳 We wrapped up the day at the Welcome Ceremony, kicking off the event alongside all the other teams. 🎉

The final competition of the season kicks off, and our first day is all about getting there. Early this morning we packed up in Graz and hit the road to Italy. 🚚💨 After a long drive, we rolled in during the late afternoon and got straight to setting up camp. 🏕️ Now it’s all about resting up and getting organized before the real work starts tomorrow, as we prepare the car and the team for competition week 💪❤️‍🔥

The countdown is on and the excitement is real. 🏎️📈 After an intense season behind us, our team is more than ready to give it everything one last time. ❤️‍🔥
