We are pleased to announce a significant enhancement to the Corporate Individual Chess Championship (CiCC), aimed at establishing this event as Zimbabwe’s most prestigious chess tournament. We will be introducing a Blazer as part of our winners' prizes - a concept inspired by the Golf Masters, where the winner is awarded a Green Blazer.

The CiCC Blazer will serve as a symbol of achievement and distinction, becoming a lasting addition to the prize collection of each new champion every year.

To facilitate the establishment of this tradition, we are delighted to inform you that we have secured the sponsorship of 4 May International

4 May is a premium clothing brand in Zimbabwe, which has also dressed the Zimbabwe Men’s national football and cricket teams.

In a gracious move 4 May has offered a full attire ensemble for the 2026 CiCC Champion, from Blazer to tie, including a premium shirt, and trousers/slacks.

Remember passion never gets out of fashion!

See you on 6 June 2026 at the Monomotapa Hotel.
