GIRLS EMPOWERMENT MONDAY MOTIVATION

Every girl deserves 3 things: TO DREAM. TO LEARN. TO LEAD.
When we invest in a girl’s education and well-being, we don’t just change her life, we change families, communities, and the future.
This Monday, let’s keep pouring into our girls.
Let’s inspire and develop them. Empower a girl until she becomes everything she was created to be. 👑

Still in African Child Week 🌸

Theme: Protecting the Girl Child

A safe girl is a free girl. A protected girl is a powerful girl.
Every daughter, niece, sister deserves to walk this world without fear.

What protection looks like: Hug your girl today + whisper, “You are safe with me. My arms, my ears, my heart are always open.”

At RIGE, we are her safe space. We pursue + recover ALL her peace & potential

Drop a 🤗 below for every girl you’re covering with love today.

A girl from Bindura speaks: ‘When I have water, I have dignity.’ 💜 as she joins RIGE and the entire world in commemorating day of the African child

Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for every child. That’s the future.

*🚨 No girl should miss school because the tap is dry. 💧*

_🌸 TODAY | Day of the African Child 2026_
_Theme: Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) for Every Child_

Water = Learning.
Toilets = Dignity.
Soap = Health.

When a girl has clean water + a safe toilet, she stays in class.
When she stays in class, she reaches her potential. ✨
_That’s the RIGE vision: Every girl realising her potential to the fullest._

_Here is our call to Parents, Teachers, Leaders in Mash Central — Bindura to Mt Darwin, city to rural schools & beyond:_
Ask 3 questions today:
1. Is there clean drinking water? 💧
2. Are toilets safe + private for girls? 🚺
3. Is there soap for little hands? 🧼

Day of the African Child Week
Right to Education 💜

Every African girl has a RIGHT TO 📚✨
quality, safe, dignified learning.

This week RIGE will be showing the role of the community in making sure the girl child remains in school.
The aim is to:
1. Keep girls IN school
2. Ensure safety while IN schools.
3. Defend their right to be IN school

What parental support could look like?
Tonight ask: “My princess, what did you learn today?” 👂
Then LISTEN. When girls feel heard at home, they stay at school 🏫💕

At RIGE we advocate, we mentor, we bring dropouts back 🌸
It’s never too late to recover ALL.

Tag a girl who likes 📚

We were glad to be part of the global menstrual health day commemoration in solidarity with Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Dev. yesterday in Murehwa.
As an Education Coalition of Zimbabwe - ecozi member predominantly working with girls one truth always stands out: When a girl misses school because of her period, she doesn’t just miss a lesson, she risks her confidence, her safety, and her future.
Therefore, menstrual health is not a “women’s issue.” It is an education issue. It is a dignity issue. It is a development issue.

That is why we stand firmly behind the following 3 calls today:

1. End the stigma
When we whisper about periods, shame grows. When we speak openly, dignity grows. Boys must be part of menstrual health conversations too, because brothers, fathers, and future husbands are allies, not bystanders.

2. Ensure access
Access to accurate information, safe, affordable menstrual products. Access to clean water and private toilets in schools. No girl should choose between her education and her biology.

3. Protect policies with action
We stand with the Ministry and all partners to say: let’s move from policy to practice. Let’s put pads in rural schools. Let’s train teachers to be supportive, not dismissive. Let’s budget for menstrual health like we budget for textbooks.

Access to health services should never depend on where a woman lives, her income or social status. Women deserve quality, affordable and respectful healthcare.
