Are you ready? 💜💜💜 The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a global movement to end violence against women and girls by raising awareness, supporting survivors, and advocating for change. This worldwide campaign runs from Nov 25th and until Dec 10. As an organisation that works towards this goal every day of the year, this campaign gives this critical issue a boost in social discourse. This year is particularly important as GBV has finally been declared a national disaster in South Africa. We have a lot of work to do - but there are already some amazing organisations that support Survivors in their healing journey and work towards the fight against GBV every day.

To end off the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we had the privilege to partner with again to create 100 care packs for Survivors of GBV. These packs are filled with essentials and some pamper goodies to give to Victim-survivors as a first immediate response, distributed by police stations and care centers. This year the packs went to SAPS Claremont, SAPS Wynberg and Victoria Hospital Thuthuzela Care Centre.

60 packs were generously donated by the International Academics Programmes Office - Dr Quinton Johnaon (Director) and Dr Sianne Alves Director of office for inclusivity and change

Thanks to for donation of some luxurious pamper goodies to add to the packs.
