Toevlug Sentrum We are committed to a service of outstanding quality to the community and substance users through Prevention programmes, Treatment and After care services.

Toevlug Centre is situated in the Breede River Valley in Worcester. This Centre was established in 1978 and we can proudly look back on the work of the past 30 years. In 2003 the Centre was presented with the Best Practice Award by Minister Marius Fransman. The Centre is registered in terms of the Law on the Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse of 1992 (Act 20 of 1992) to accommodate 50 vol

untary inpatients and 20 youth between the ages of 13 and 18. Although Toevlug is well known for its inpatient treatment program the Centre renders an integrated service on all four levels of intervention, namely: Awareness and prevention, Early intervention, Inpatient Treatment and Reintegration/Aftercare. The Centre has an on site Toxicology Lab which screens for 14 Substances.

Ondersteun asb die Hoender braai ten bate van Toevlug op 5 Junie 2026 🙏

Ons het met groot hartseer verneem van die afsterwe van Johnny Davids (48) aan 'n hartaanval, geliefde ambassadeur van Badisa en Huis van Heerde Child & Youth Care Centre.

In hierdie tyd van verlies gaan ons gedagtes en gebede veral uit na sy vrou, Liezel, en sy kinders. Mag julle krag en vertroosting vind in die kosbare herinneringe wat julle saam koester.

Johnny was vir ons soveel meer as net ’n ambassadeur. Hy was ’n man met ’n besondere hart – iemand wat opreg omgegee het en ’n blywende verskil gemaak het in die lewens van die kinders by Huis Van Heerden. Al was sy tyd saam met ons kort, was sy impak diep en betekenisvol.

Sy ongelooflike talent, sy warmte en sy lig sal lank onthou word. Hy laat ’n groot leemte – nie net by Badisa nie, maar in almal se harte wat die voorreg gehad het om hom te ken.

Wat ’n voorreg was dit nie om hom deel van die Badisa-familie te kon noem nie.

Ons sal hom met dankbaarheid en liefde onthou.
