🚭 “PROTECTION REQUIRES ACTION — AND ACTION REQUIRES STRONGER REGULATION.”

At today’s Substance Abuse Awareness and Intervention Programme, the spotlight is also on the need to strengthen to***co control, prevention and regulatory measures to protect communities, particularly young people.

We are pleased to have Dr Tlou Caswell Chokoe, Chairperson for Social Development in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, in attendance to engage on issues affecting our communities and the importance of stronger interventions.

Together, let’s move beyond awareness towards stronger policies, effective enforcement and healthier, to***co-free communities. 🚭💙

🚭STRONGER TO***CO CONTROL. STRONGER POLICIES. HEALTHIER COMMUNITIES.

Today, we bring the conversation on substance abuse and to***co control to the community of Tembisa — raising awareness, strengthening prevention and calling for effective policies and stronger enforcement to protect our communities, particularly young people.

We were honoured to have Speaker of Council, Cllr. John Senona, as the featured speaker, with Dr Tlou Caswell Chokoe, Chairperson for Social Development in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, also in attendance.
