A special thank you to Mercy and her little helpers for preparing a delicious pot of soup for everyone on Youth Day! 🥣💚

Our farm project funds our after school outreach programs which provides an opportunity for us to use our farm fresh veggies to feed the children in our program healthy food options. Continuing our circular approach.

What made this meal even more special was that many of the vegetables used were freshly harvested from the GLO Farm. 🌱 From farm to table, our garden continues to make it possible to provide nutritious, affordable meals for many children in our community.

Moments like these remind us of the power of teamwork, sustainability, and caring for one another. 💚

🇿🇦✨ This Youth Day, GLO:Outreach celebrated with the learners through prayer, meaningful discussions about the history and importance of Youth Day, and an exciting sports challenge that kept everyone active, engaged, and having fun! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

By learning about the courage of the youth of 1976, our learners were reminded that their voices matter and that they have the power to shape a brighter future. 🌟

Our second farm site is officially planted and growing, and we’re so proud of how far this land has come through our regenerative farming practices.
What started as an idea is now becoming something real—healthy soil, new life, and food growing back into the ground in a way that supports the future.

🖐️💙 Child Protection Week Awareness 💙🖐️

Last week ,our learners took part in a meaningful Child Protection Week activity by tracing and decorating their hands while learning about their Safety Circle – the trusted people they can turn to when they need help, support, or someone to talk to.

Through creativity and discussion, the children identified the important adults in their lives who help keep them safe and remind them that they are never alone. Every hand tells a story of trust, protection, and the courage to speak up.

🌊🦈 What an incredible experience for the children of GLO: Outreach🦈🌊

From the excitement and adrenaline of shark cage diving to the unforgettable sight of thousands of dolphins 🐬 and playful seals 🦭, this was truly a day to remember.

Opportunities like these allow our children to learn, grow, build confidence, and experience the wonders of nature in a unique way. By the end of the day, the nerves had turned into smiles, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to Apex Shark Expeditions for making this amazing adventure possible. Your passion, professionalism, and dedication to marine education and conservation are truly appreciated. 💙
