To Inez Wessels, the kids, and family, on behalf of everyone at Ocean View Football Club, we extend our deepest condolences on the tragic passing of Denzil.

He was not only a dedicated coach at Seaside Spurs but also a valued member of our local football community. Having played or been a member at every club in the valley, we know his passion, kindness, and commitment to the game touched many lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

We are saddened by the passing of our U14 coach and O40 captain Denzil Wessels who tragically passed away yesterday, hours before what would be his 48th birthday today.

We pray for his wife and kids during this time.

We will surely miss his spirit and energy around the club. RIP brother! 💔

Superleague and U18 fixtures are postponed for this match week. Our 40's are playing home against Noordhoek, and our junior teams are home vs Wesley United on Saturday.

First Div side will be travelling to Wynberg to play Wesley at William Herbert Sports Field.

Results against Spenston FC in club vs club league matches. Our Junior teams did extremely well on the day. Senior teams just short of bringing home 3 points, with our O40's kept their title charge going with a 4-1 win over Wolverhampton.
