Research from the South African Human Rights Commission shows that up to 83% of girl learners do not have consistent access to feminine hygiene products. This results in nearly one in four girls missing school every month, causing them to lose up to 20% of their academic year.

Thanks to RADA MiPads, we were able to support the girls of De La Rey Primary School with essential reusable sanitary pads — helping restore confidence, dignity and uninterrupted access to education. 💙

Every handout is more than just a product; it’s a step toward empowering young girls to stay in school and focus on their future.

Tiny voices, BIG message💙
One of the sweetest parts of the NEW RADA RASI video has been to see learners not only sing along to the road safety song, but also confidently doing all the actions from the video! 🥹👏

The RASI Project was created after concerns were raised by members of the South African Police Service and Community Policing Forums regarding road safety issues affecting many communities across South Africa. Together, these discussions inspired RADA to create a fun and interactive way to teach children important road safety lessons. The video is available on YouTube . There is a dedicated RADA team that distributes these free learning tools to schools nationwide.

Our NEW animated RASI video, proudly endorsed by the RTMC (Road Traffic Management Corporation), helps teach young learners the importance of simple but life-saving habits — like always wearing your seatbelt. 🚘

Seeing these children sing “Put your seatbelt on!” with so much excitement reminds us exactly why projects like this one matter.💙

RADA provided a very grateful grade 12 learner with stationary this month. We have been involved in supporting her and her family for the past 5 years. It all started with a RADA MiPad handout at her school in 2021.💙
