Heartstrings Community Project Heartstrings is a Christian, community based organisation. Our vision is to empower people with hope and dignity in a variety of ways. Definition 1. Definition 2.

When my husband Michael and I go anywhere the one thing that
burdens our hearts is seeing people without hope. We are continuously thinking of ways to create opportunities to
enable a person to move from despair to hope and from apathy to empowerment. This is not only a mind-set of the poverty stricken but a majority
of really amazing people feel that the little they could do would not make a dif

ference. Our Heart is to bring communities together through our Organisation
"Heartstrings" in this way connecting the disadvantaged to the more
advantaged communities. Heartstring: Tendons or veins that support the heart. They brace and sustain the heart. Heartstring: The deepest feeling of LOVE (strong, positive
emotion of regard) and COMPASSION (a deep awareness for another's
sufferings). We have a huge heart for the Nations and our vision is to develop
"Heartstrings" that support, brace and sustain a community by
not just selling a product but creating a "Heartstring" to an
individual by not only telling their stories but changing them.

Imagine needing clothes, bedding or towels for your family, and being able to walk into a place where you can choose what you actually need.
That's what our Community Care Market is about.
On certain Sundays, local moms can choose from donated clothing, bedding, towels and other essentials.
It's practical help done with dignity.

If you'd like to help us keep our Community Care Market stocked, we welcome donations of good-quality:

Baby items
Children's items
Bags
Or make a financial donation so we can purchase what is most urgently needed.

Welcome to Heartstrings Community project!
We believe that sometimes a little help at the right time can make a world of difference.
Every month, Heartstrings supports local families, moms, babies and children through practical acts of kindness.
Our Comunnity Care Market allows moms to choose clothing, bedding, towels and other essentials.
We provide grocery vouchers to people who are struggling.
We support local creches.
We have started a baby home and are waiting with open hearts for the arrival of our first baby.
And every month, we see how much a community can achieve when people care.

We're not here to change the whole world overnight.
We're here to help the person in front of us.

After the busyness of the school holidays, it was so good to slow down for a bit and spend some time together as a team.

We enjoyed a relaxed braai, plenty of laughs, good conversations, and the chance to simply connect outside of the usual busyness.
This was a wonderful opportunity for us to show our appreciation and to serve them.
