The Soweto Student Uprisings of 1976 are marked in history as one of the significant rallying points that inspired people to rise up against the brutal apartheid system, with young people leading the charge. Today we honour those who participated in the Soweto Uprising in 1976 on that day.
As a foundation we understand that it’s critical to channel our youth’s unbridled energy and steer it in the right direction. By skillfully channeling this energy, any nation can reach unimaginable heights.

On this special day, the continent celebrates African Unity and the attainment of independence from the yoke of colonial powers.
While political freedom from colonial powers has been achieved the continent still faces a host of challenges, which require concerted effort, and sustainable approaches.

KaboYellow Golf Foundation aims to address inequalities of the past where disadvantaged communities that didn’t have access to sport & recreational facilities such as Golf as well as provide young players with the opportunity to excel in golf whilst instilling life-enhancing values through the game of golf and its traditional values.
