🚨 URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP 🚨
As we continue to navigate the land crisis we find ourselves in, the work does not stop.
Every day, more calls for help come from communities where horses are suffering. We receive reports of abuse, neglect, and owners who simply do not care. We also hear from owners who love their horses but have no access to welfare veterinary care and cannot afford the help their animals desperately need.
Over the past year, we have helped countless horses in these communities. Some have required admission to private veterinary hospitals. While some veterinarians have generously assisted us with discounts, the cost of treatment has been astronomical and has depleted our funds.
How do we turn our backs on an animal that is suffering?
At the same time, we have faced countless crises with our own herd, all while fighting to keep the Haven operating.
Today, we are asking for your help.
We urgently need to settle outstanding veterinary bills and continue covering the daily running costs of the Haven so that we can keep responding to horses in need.
Please do not turn away from this growing crisis.
Horses deserve better. They deserve every chance we can give them. And for those we cannot save, they deserve a peaceful, pain-free passing surrounded by kindness and care—not terror, neglect, and suffering.
Horses matter.
