The Ukukhanya Initiative

One of the initiatives closest to the heart of Gongota Creations Foundation is the Ukukhanya Programme.

Through this programme, we raise substance abuse awareness by restoring inherent dignity and humanity to those struggling with addiction.

"Ukukhanya" means "light" — and that is the very purpose of this initiative: to bring light and love to our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, and siblings, so that they know they are seen, valued, and appreciated throughout their journey to recovery.

“A Pair Saves A Dream.”

"A Pair Saves A Dream" is our dignity-first program focusing more on primary school learners in and around Kagiso.

The program is aimed at helping learners with school shoes and dignity packs.
Donations received from our generous community members are shared amongst schools,we kicked started the initiative at Sandile Primary School and we were welcomed with open arms as we proceeded to handover some of the donations.
