After being given to a homeless person, he was sadly abandoned and left without a home. Now, at just 11 months old, he deserves a fresh start with a family who will love, protect and cherish him. ❤️

But the reality is that we cannot do it alone.

Every rescue comes with responsibilities — veterinary bills, food, vaccinations, sterilisation, rehabilitation and ongoing care.

🐾❤️ A LITTLE COMFORT FOR SWITCH! ❤️🐾

Our sweet Switch was very ill on Sunday, and our team immediately took him to the vet, where he received the medication he needed. 🐶❤️

Since then, our volunteers have returned every day to make sure he receives his medication and the care he deserves.

But that’s not all! Switch also received a kennel, providing him with a warmer, softer and more comfortable place to rest while he recovers. 🏡💕

A heartfelt thank you to Purple Kennel Project – Cape Town for supplying the kennel, generously donated by CTG. ❤️

Your kindness is making a difference in the lives of animals who often have very little shelter or comfort.

Another busy morning for our rescue team as we collected more animals to be taken to the vet for sterilisation! 🐶🐱

Today, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Theresa Els from Overstrand Municipality, who has generously funded 20 sterilisations for animals in our community! ❤️

Theresa has supported Zola’s Paw Rescue from the very beginning, and we are incredibly grateful for her continued kindness and dedication to animal welfare.

Sterilisation plays a vital role in preventing unwanted litters, reducing the number of homeless animals and creating a better future for our furry friends. 🐾💕

🐾❤️ A LITTLE SHELTER GOES A LONG WAY! ❤️🐾

Every dog deserves a safe, warm place to rest. 🏡🐶

After tending to mommy dog and her puppies, our team returned to the township with a large kennel for some of the other dogs in our care.

Many of these precious souls have no proper shelter and resort to digging holes in the ground to sleep in at night. 💔

While we continue to provide food, veterinary care and as much love as possible, we know that they deserve so much more.

We may not have a sanctuary to offer them just yet, but we can make their lives a little more comfortable, one small act of kindness at a time. ❤️

For now, these precious dogs have a warm, sheltered place to rest their heads. 🐾💕

🐾❤️ SMALL ACTS, BIG DIFFERENCES! ❤️🐾

Our team returned to check on mommy dog and her puppies, bringing them food and making sure they were warm and comfortable. 🐶❤️

During our visit, we noticed that the little ones’ ears were badly infested with ticks.

Thankfully, we had received a generous donation of Sol Oil, a treatment for external parasites, from Gerhard and Karlien Venter of Albertyn Pharmacy. After applying it, we were amazed to see how much cleaner their little ears looked the following day! 💕

This donation means so much to us, especially as we cannot always afford NexGard Spectra treatments for every dog in need.

A heartfelt thank you to Gerhard and Karlien for your kindness and generosity. Your support helps us continue caring for animals who need it most. ❤️🐾
