In 2013, more than 700 children benefitted from the ABC for Life education, mentoring and soccer programmes. We are seeking partners that are able to support us financially and/or in kind so that we can continue with our work, improve our outcomes and further expand our reach.

From ABC for Life learners to young entrepreneurs! 🚗❤️

Meet Inga and Chinga, two brothers who were once part of our ABC for Life family. Today, both are working and running a side business washing cars at Sentinel Primary School.

It's so rewarding to see how far they have come and how they are making their own way through hard work and determination.

This is what community is all about – nurturing young people, celebrating their growth and watching them become the next generation of hardworking, inspiring individuals. ❤️

💛 A Morning to Remember! 💛

On 14 September, we had the privilege of welcoming the wonderful team from KPMG to Sentinel Primary School, where they spent a special morning with our Grade R learners. 🌟
Each KPMG team member sat individually with a learner, giving them their time, attention and encouragement. It was beautiful to see the connections made through simple conversations, shared smiles and quality time. 🥰📚

Thank you, KPMG, for investing your time and making each learner feel seen, valued and special. Your presence made a meaningful difference, and it truly was a morning to remember! 💛✨

Watching this journey come full circle 🥹❤️
Rameez was once a pupil who Gailyn taught in Grade 1, and now, fast-forward to 2026, he’s doing his very own teaching practical! 🎓🍎 From being taught by her to becoming a teacher himself…what a beautiful full-circle moment! ✨

We’re still not over what an incredible privilege it was to hand out 1,000 literacy card packs to learners across Grades R–3 in three schools. 📚✨

Here’s a glimpse of one of the schools that received the literacy cards. Seeing the excitement on the learners’ faces was a beautiful reminder of the impact that access to quality literacy resources can have.

Literacy begins in Grade R, where children develop the essential building blocks for reading, writing, and lifelong learning. Every literacy card shared is an investment in a child’s confidence, curiosity, and future.

Once again, a heartfelt thank you to ICM for making this initiative possible and helping us place meaningful learning resources into the hands of so many young learners. Together, we’re making a difference one child at a time. 💙
