Lighthouse 2 Lighthouse Ladies is a NPO registered group of women situated in Hermanus, Western Cape. Our aim is to raise money for charities in the Overstrand.

The ladies are involved in a number of fundraising projects – the main one being an annual 100 km walk over four days in aid of local charities. The ladies are involved in a number of fundraising projects – the main one being an annual 100 km walk over 4 days in aid of local charities

In the beginning, the ladies carried everything they needed for the duration of the walk. Now, we camp at Die Dam for the period we are walking, carrying what we need for the day's walk. Lighthouse 2 Lighthouse is not a charity itself, but a vehicle to raise money for registered causes. Every cent we collect is handed over to the charity of choice. The choice of the charity to benefit is an open process and we call for proposals from all NGO & NPO's in the area. The ladies that are walking vote for the beneficiary they want to support. The runner-up receives an amount from the proceeds of our official practice walk held before the main walk. In order to raise this money, each lady who wishes to walk Lighthouse 2 Lighthouse, has to collect sponsorship of a minimum of R4 000.00 in order to participate. Some of the ladies raise a lot more than this, using their skills and talents to achieve their targets. We also appeal to businesses in the community, to assist us in reaching our target. Lighthouse 2 Lighthouse Ladies has become a very valued and respected group of women in the Overstrand community. We feel a sense of pride both in our achievements on the long and sometimes difficult walk, as well as in the good we do for the needy of our community.

💗 WWW HERMANUS 💗

🚶‍♀️ 22 walkers, 5 km, and a whole lot of pink! 🎀

What a beautiful day for our WWW Hermanus walk! Our 22 walkers proudly wore pink in support of Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

Four brave ladies went the extra mile (quite literally! 😉), extending their walk to 10 km all the way to Kammabaai! Well done, ladies! 👏💪

After all that walking, we headed to Café Anna in Hermanus for a well-deserved coffee and some great company and even some wonderful sweet words of wisdom! ☕🥰

Beautiful weather, wonderful people, and a meaningful cause — what more could we ask for?

A big thank you to everyone who joined us! Keep walking, keep smiling, and keep spreading awareness! 💗🎀

⚓🌊 WWW FRANSKRAAL! 🌊⚓

🚶‍♀️🐾 19 walkers and 1 very special four-legged friend! 🐕💙

The morning started in the best way possible! ☀️🌊 With beautiful surroundings, fresh sea air, and wonderful company, our WWW Franskraal crew was ready to get moving!

💗 In support of Cancer Awareness Month, we added a splash of pink to our walk, showing that no matter where we walk, we can all make a difference! 🎀

With 19 walkers and 1 happy dog joining in, it was another lovely morning filled with fresh air, friendship, and plenty of smiles. 🐾🥰

Different town, same spirit, same passion for walking, and the same wonderful WWW community! 💙⚓

A big thank you to everyone who joined us — two-legged and four-legged alike! 🐕💕

⚓🛟 LIGHTHOUSE2LIGHTHOUSE PRACTICE WALK 3 – WHAT A SUCCESS! 🧦🐾

🌿 Sunday, 25 October 2026 | Honningklip

Another successful Lighthouse2Lighthouse Practice Walk is in the books! 💙❤️🤍

🥾 34 walkers joined us for a stunning 13 km route through the beautiful surroundings of Honningklip Brewery, completing the walk in approximately 4 hours.

💰 R4,200 raised! Every step made a difference, supporting our Lighthouse2Lighthouse 2027 beneficiaries.

🐾 A special thank you to Taryn from Panthera Africa, who joined us to represent our main beneficiary and share in our morning of walking, friendship and fundraising.

🍕🍺 And, of course, what better way to finish than with a well-deserved HKB craft b**r and delicious pizza! Thank you to our hosts at Honningklip Brewery.

A huge thank you to everyone who walked, donated and supported the day. Every kilometre brings us closer to making a difference! ⚓🛟
