🥬🥕🥦The LETCEE's Food Security team recently brought the spirit of Green Fingers Day to Bhodlani Centre in Thulini, where the team came together with community members, garden mentors and committees to plant food for the benefit of the children.

The day was a wonderful success, with everyone showing great support for the Green Fingers initiative. The collective effort not only helps strengthen food security at the centre but also encourages communities to work together in creating sustainable sources of nutritious food.

The food grown will contribute towards supporting the children at the centre, and also shared with those who participated in the planting as a way of appreciating and encouraging their valuable contribution.

LETCEE’s women’s team celebrated a wonderful Women’s Day with a special "TeaTreat"🌹☕️❤️, creating a warm and meaningful space to connect, encourage and uplift one another.

The team shared words of encouragement, inspiration and motivation, reminding each other that every woman is important, valued, and special in this world.

Together, they reflected on their purpose to inspire change, nurture future generations, overcome challenges and continue making a meaningful difference every day.

As we closing off the Mandela month, on the 18th of July 2026, the LETCEE team proudly dedicated 67 minutes to painting the Matimatolo Toy Library demonstrating that small acts of service can make a lasting impact. This initiative was more than just adding colour to buildings, tyre sandpits, jungle gyms, tyre stepping stones, etc... but it was about creating a brighter, more welcoming space where children can learn, play, entertained and grow.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who generously gave their time, energy, and support in honour of Nelson Mandela's legacy of service.
