🌸🌼 SPRING HAS SPRUNG AT APD! 🌼🌸

Today was all about celebrating Spring Day with beautiful flowers, bright smiles and lots of creativity! 🌷✨ Our children dressed in their prettiest flower-inspired outfits and had so much fun making their very own flower bands. 🌺👑

And the fun doesn’t stop there… 👀✨

🎭 Tomorrow’s theme: “What Do You Want to Be?”
The children can dress up as anything they dream of becoming! 👩‍🚒👨‍⚕️👩‍🏫🧑‍🚀🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

We can’t wait to see all the creative outfits and big dreams! 🌟

🌟 A Wonderful First Visit to St. Paul’s Primary School! 🌟

Today, we had the pleasure of visiting St. Paul’s Primary School for the very first time, and what a warm welcome we received! 🧡

We were truly amazed by the friendliness, kindness and enthusiasm shown by both the learners and educators. It was wonderful to see such a welcoming environment that embraces inclusion and persons with disabilities. 🤝♿️

A heartfelt thank you to the entire St. Paul’s Primary School family for welcoming us, engaging with us and creating such a positive experience. We certainly look forward to visiting you again! 🌈

Together, let’s continue building a more inclusive community where everyone belongs. 💙

🎉 CASUAL DAY SCHOOL AWARENESS – KRETZENSHOOP PRIMARY SCHOOL 🎉

We continued our Casual Day School Awareness Campaign today at Kretzenshoop Primary School in Blanco! 🧡

A huge thank you to the wonderful teachers and learners for welcoming us so warmly and for taking part in our awareness activities. 🙌🧡 Your support means so much to us!

And of course, Able was there to bring some extra fun! 🕺🎉 He entertained the crowd with his dance moves, high fives and lots of smiles! 😄✋

Together, we are spreading awareness, creating understanding and showing that disability should never be a barrier to inclusion, participation and belonging. 💙

As Women's Month draws to a close and Heritage Month begins, we're reminded that our shared story is shaped by the many voices, experiences, and contributions that make our communities stronger.

Women and persons with disabilities continue to influence, inspire and enrich the spaces where we live, work and connect. Their experiences form an important part of our collective heritage.

This week, let's celebrate the people, perspectives, and possibilities that make South Africa unique. Because heritage is not only about where we've come from. It's also about who belongs in the story we're creating together.

🌟 Ending the Week with Awareness & Inclusion! 🌟

We ended off the week at Conville Primary School, where we had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Grade R classes and the LSEN Unit as part of our Casual Day school awareness campaign. 🧡

A special shout-out to Able, who once again brought lots of fun and excitement! 🥳🕺 He entertained the children with his awesome dance moves and gave out plenty of high fives. ✋😄 It was wonderful seeing the smiles and excitement he brought to the learners!

A heartfelt thank you to Conville Primary School, the educators and learners for welcoming us so warmly and for allowing us to share our message of inclusion, awareness and celebrating our differences. 🧡

Today, we had the pleasure of visiting New Dawn Park Primary School as part of our Casual Day school awareness campaign. 💙

A big thank you to the school for welcoming us so warmly and making us feel right at home! 🤗 We would also like to thank the Grade R learners for listening so beautifully and participating with such enthusiasm. 👏✨

Our mascot Able had a wonderful time entertaining the learners, spreading smiles, and sharing lots of high fives with everyone! 🙌😊
