A little over a month after a rare fin whale stranding at Die Plaat, we returned to collect some of its skeleton.

This was very much a team effort, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the collection possible.

Keep an eye on this space for updates on when these remarkable bones will be on display at one of our Marine Dynamics properties, offering visitors a unique opportunity to discover the incredible size, anatomy and biology of one of the world’s largest whale species.

This Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who are part of our story.

From the deck of a whale-watching boat to the shark cage, from penguin rehabilitation to conservation research, from welcoming guests at Great White House to the teams working behind the scenes, women are an important part of the Marine Dynamics ecosystem.

They are marine biologists, guides, conservationists, animal carers, researchers, reservations consultants, chefs, managers, administrators and so much more.

They all bring something different to the team, but share a commitment to their work.

At Marine Dynamics Shark Tours and Whale Tours, the Dyer Island Conservation Trust, the African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary and Great White House, we are proud of the women who bring knowledge, determination, compassion and leadership to their work every day.

And perhaps most importantly, they are showing the next generation that there is a place for women in science, conservation, marine tourism, leadership and every part of protecting our oceans.

To every woman who forms part of our extended Marine Dynamics family: thank you for what you bring, what you teach and the difference you make.

Today is **World Nature Conservation Day**.

Conservation isn't something we celebrate once a year. It's what drives us every single day.

From Whale Watching, Shark Cage Diving and Swimming with Seals to marine research, environmental education, the Dyer Island Conservation Trust and the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary, every experience has a purpose.

Every whale photographed.
Every shark encounter.
Every rescued penguin.
Every child inspired.
Every guest.

Together, they help protect the extraordinary Dyer Island ecosystem for generations to come.
