🌟 A Historic Milestone for Disability Sport in Gert Sibande District! 🌟

Yesterday marked an incredible and inspiring day as we officially launched Para Volleyball in Gert Sibande District, Mpumalanga.

The event brought together persons with disabilities, aspiring athletes, coaches, community leaders, and supporters who share a vision of creating an inclusive sporting environment where everyone has an opportunity to participate, compete, and thrive.

We witnessed enthusiasm, determination, teamwork, and the true spirit of inclusion as participants were introduced to Sitting Volleyball, basic skills development, and practical game situations. The energy in the room was remarkable, proving that sport has the power to unite, empower, and transform lives.

A heartfelt thank you to all stakeholders, volunteers, athletes, coaches, supporters, and community members who contributed to making this launch a success. Your commitment to promoting disability sport is helping to build stronger, more inclusive communities.

At Kuhlase Disability Centre, we believe that disability is not inability. This launch is just the beginning of a journey that will create opportunities for talent development, social inclusion, and community participation through sport.

Two of our dedicated teachers attended a Kho-Kho workshop in Ermelo to gain more knowledge and skills about the sport. This experience will help us promote teamwork, fitness, and inclusion through Kho-Kho activities at our centre.

We are excited to bring back what we learned and share it with our learners and community. 💙
