Literacy in primary school is a vital foundation for a child’s growth and development. Through reading, children are introduced to new ideas, language, and imagination, helping them build confidence and a love for learning. Storytelling allows them to express themselves, understand different perspectives, and develop creativity, while also strengthening their listening and communication skills.

Incorporating crafts into literacy activities makes learning more engaging and interactive. We spent some time doing literacy work with the learners at Chief Luthuli Primary School.

Imagine a student worrying about personal hygiene, perhaps lacking soap or a toothbrush. When learners have access to essential hygiene items, they're not distracted by discomfort, insecurity, or even potential illness. They can focus on absorbing knowledge, engaging with their peers, and reaching their full potential. These seemingly small items can make a huge difference in a learner’s life, donating hygiene packs is more than just providing soap and shampoo, we alleviate this burden and empower these students to participate fully in their education. In most cases, girls get the first preference by being provided with sanitary pads in schools, but no one ever think of the boys, hence we thought for a change we can focus on the boys this time around as they are also equally important.

Thanks to the collective support of partners, donors, and staff, the recent School Shoe Drive and ongoing NPO support initiatives reached hundreds of beneficiaries across Gauteng.
Seven organisations benefited from the School Shoe Drive, with a total of 642 pairs of school shoes donated to learners in need.

Donating blood is a simple yet powerful act of kindness that can save lives. Each donation helps ensure that hospitals have a reliable supply of blood for emergencies, surgeries, and patients with chronic conditions. By supporting blood donation initiatives, we contribute to the well-being of our communities and demonstrate our commitment to social responsibility and national health priorities. We appreciate our donors from Affinity Health

This past festive season, we had the privilege of bringing joy to underprivileged children through the gift of Christmas. Each gift represented more than a present—it was a reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved. The smiles and excitement shared on the day reflected the true spirit of Christmas: kindness, generosity, and hope for a brighter future. One of the beneficiary home was Nyeleti's Childrens home
