This morning, 270 food socks were donated to the Gregg Mitchley Foundation and the Matthew 25 Project on behalf of Ridgewood Preparatory families.

This morning while racing to get ready for church, one of our little girlies was crying because she thought she may be left behind. Another little old girly, kind and caring, issued some words of wisdom and said: "Mama, I think its because she loves Jesus and doesn't want to miss church". 🙌🏽❤️

Its a good reminder to us grow ups how enthusiastic our hearts should be to gather together at church on a Sunday.

At Sunday lunch one of our bigger boys asked if he could please have seconds. 🍽️🍖

As a growing boy, he often asks for seconds.

Before we could even answer, Little Mister piped up very seriously and said:
“NO… otherwise your tummy will be full like Christmas!” 🎄😂

The things our little ones come up with keep us smiling every day. ❤️

It’s been a busy few weeks of birthdays in our home… with even more celebrations still to come! 🎂

Last week we celebrated Hannah Brück’s very special birthday. 🥳 Hannah is a key part of our charity shop team and handles so much of the daily shop operations. She is reliable, capable, kind-hearted, hardworking and always willing to jump in wherever needed. She has grown so beautifully in confidence and responsibility, and she is such a valued part of The Matthew 25 Project family. We are so proud of the young woman she is becoming and grateful for all the love and care she pours into our children and projects. ❤️

We also celebrated the birthday of our new pre-primary school teacher, Tanith Gouws! 😍 Tanith recently took over from beloved teacher Barbara - or “Teacher Blabla” as the little ones called her (in baby language 😄) - and she has settled in so wonderfully with our kiddies. She has such a gentle and patient nature and has already been teaching and loving the little ones so well. Tanith also specialises in sensory play and creative learning experiences, which our little ones absolutely adore. 🥰

And coming up… we have TWO excited little 4-year-olds in the house who will soon be turning 5! 🎈 They are counting down the sleeps with great excitement and already talking about birthdays.

If anyone would like to spoil one of our little ones on their birthday with their own special goodies or gifts, they would absolutely love that and it would make their day so incredibly special. ❤️

Another awesome day in court with two super cool brothers! 💙💙

Today we experienced the Lord’s favour in such a very special way, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the outcome.

There have been many prayers, much hope, and many moments of trusting the process - and today reminded us once again that the Lord truly goes before us.

We are so excited for the future ahead for these precious boys and all that lies before them.

Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for and support the children in our care. ❤️
