The kiddies were blessed today with some delicious chocolate chip yoghurts. They knew they were in the fridge waiting for them after dinner, but Big Mr couldn't easily find them. Little Miss used her big, beautiful eyes to have a look and found them quite quickly!

She looked at Mama and said, "See Mama, I'm good-looking. I looked and found them!" 😂😍

Although she is very beautiful, that's not even what she meant!

In her little mind, being "good-looking" meant being good at looking for things. 😂

Little ones have the sweetest way of making us smile! 😁❤️

The other night, Dada was sitting with the kiddies wrapped around him, watching David and Goliath on Dada's phone. The kiddies were getting very excited about the battle unfolding between the young shepherd boy and the horrible giant!

They started shouting at the two characters on the screen when Dada said, "Guys, they can't hear you." 😂😂

The kids looked up a little startled and replied, "But doesn't Goliath have a phone? Can't he hear us on his phone?"

"And David?" another one asked. "What about him? Where is his phone?!"

Dada couldn't help but laugh as he tried to explain that David and Goliath lived a very, very long time ago - long before anyone had phones!

The kiddies weren't entirely convinced! 😅😂

We recently celebrated the birthdays of two very special 4-year-olds in the house. These two sweetiepies have been with us for many years, and they are incredibly special to us! ❤️❤️

Our little girly is so kind and compassionate. She is always the first to leap into action when someone gets hurt, and she willingly shares her sweets or even her long-awaited turn with others.

Our little boyjie is smart and diligent. He is careful in all that he does, always striving to do his best at school and completing his tasks as best as he can. 👏🏼

We are so proud of these two (as we are of all our children), and we love looking back at how they have grown and developed into such incredible little humans!

We trust the Lord to protect and guide them all the days of their lives.❤️ Happy birthday you two! You are so loved! May God continue to bless and watch over you! 🙏🏼

Tonight while the kiddies were watching their movie, Mama thought it would be a good idea to sneak off and quickly have an early shower.

Mama was immediately spotted by Little Mr who protested, "No, Mama! You're going to be too long, and who will put my nappy on and give me my bottle?"

Mama replied, "I'm going to be very quick. You can even count, and I'll be finished before you know it."

Mama dashed into the bathroom, and Little Mr stood faithfully outside the door counting:

"1... 2... 3... 4..."

Then, giving up, he announced, "See! I told you you'd be long!" 😂😅

For the past 6 months, our bus has been off the road undergoing repairs. During this time, The Matthew 25 Project has already spent R30,000 to keep the repairs moving forward, but we still need R23,845.80 to complete the work.

Our faithful old bus helps transport vulnerable children to school, medical appointments, court dates, church, outings, and other important activities. With more children expected to join our home soon, having reliable transport is more important than ever.

Every day at The Matthew 25 Project, children wake up needing breakfast, lunchboxes need to be packed, babies need nappies and formula, and vulnerable families need support.

For many of the children in our care, this home is the only place where they experience stability, safety, love, and a full tummy. ❤️

This morning while racing to get ready for church, one of our little girlies was crying because she thought she may be left behind. Another little old girly, kind and caring, issued some words of wisdom and said: "Mama, I think its because she loves Jesus and doesn't want to miss church". 🙌🏽❤️

Its a good reminder to us grow ups how enthusiastic our hearts should be to gather together at church on a Sunday.
