A lovely day of creativity and companionship at our latest Day Care gathering!

Our patients from Vosloorus enjoyed a fabric painting activity, spending time together, getting creative and sharing a few smiles along the way.

A heartfelt thank you to the Benoni Ladies Forum for generously providing lunch and helping make the day that much more special.

It's moments like these that remind us how important connection, creativity and simply spending time together can be.

What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Great music, plenty of laughs and a group of people who came together to support East Rand Palliative Care.

To everyone who bought a ticket and joined us at The Barnyard Theatre, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We hope you had a fantastic time. Knowing that you chose to spend your afternoon supporting the work we do makes the occasion even more special.

Good times for a great cause. We couldn't do it without you!

There's something incredibly special about community members who take it upon themselves to raise funds and awareness for a cause close to their hearts.

Yesterday, the ladies from El-Da-Haven brought our community together for a Cancer Walk in support of East Rand Palliative Care, raising an incredible R6,550!

For an organisation like ours, initiatives like these mean so much. Not only do they help raise much-needed funds to support the care we provide, but they also help spread awareness of palliative care and the difference it can make in the lives of patients and their families.

A very special thank you to 𝗦𝘂𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲, who organised the event and put so much time and effort into making it happen. To the ladies of El-Da-Haven and everyone who walked, contributed or showed their support, we are truly grateful.

It's people like you who remind us just how powerful a caring community can be. Thank you for choosing to make a difference!

A heartfelt thank you to Assumption Convent School and the learners involved in their Lerato Ka Diketso initiative, formerly known as the Debutantes, for choosing East Rand Palliative Care as one of the beneficiaries of their fundraising efforts.

It's wonderful to see young people putting kindness into action and making a meaningful contribution to organisations within their community.

We are truly grateful for your generosity and for thinking of the patients and theirs families we care for. Thank you for making a difference!

We had the privilege of joining the NG Kerk in Springs for their Cancer Awareness Lunch, where East Rand Palliative Care was invited as one of the guest speakers and chosen as the beneficiary of the day.

It was a heartwarming afternoon of shared stories, personal experiences and meaningful conversations about cancer, the challenges it brings and the importance of support for both patients and their families.

Thank you to NG Kerk for including us in this special event and for creating a space where stories could be shared, awareness raised and the community brought together in support of those affected by cancer. These are very important conversations to have.

On Saturday, Alet van den Heever hosted her annual Ladies' Tea at As Café in Van Dyk Central Shopping Centre, choosing East Rand Palliative Care as this year's beneficiary.

Every October, Alet brings ladies together to raise funds for a different organisation, and we're so grateful to have been this year's chosen cause.

A heartfelt thank you to Alet for organising such a wonderful afternoon, to everyone who attended and supported the event, and to Max Sacks and Charlie Bentel, owners of Van Dyk Central Shopping Centre, for their generous donation.

It's this kind of community support that helps us continue caring for patients and their families across the East Rand.

We're getting ready for an exciting change, and we wanted to share the news with our community.

Our upcoming move is about more than just a change of address. It's an important step towards making the best use of our resources while continuing to put our patients and their families first.

Watch our video to find out where we're moving, why we've made this decision and what it means for the care we provide.

New beginnings, with the same commitment to care. 💙
