🌼🐰 Benoni Lakes Lions Club was proud to spread some Easter joy among our essential service personnel! Special thanks to Lions Nick, Beaulieu, Julie and Patricia, as well as some special guests, Kelly, Kim, Emily, Hanna, Kristen, Nico, Sean, and Stacy for your dedication and hard work. 💖

We handed out Easter eggs and brought smiles to the Fire station, Police station, and especially at the Glynnwood hospital. Your efforts have truly made a positive impact in our community!

On March 29th the Benoni Lakes Lions had the privilege of visiting the Lambano Sanctuary, where we witnessed firsthand the incredible work they do for children in their palliative care facility. It was an honor to hand over 19 cancer care bags, along with 8 Jumbo packs of nappies, 8 large tins of formula, and essential gloves and aprons, all made possible by the funds raised at last year’s Cancer fundraiser. During our visit, we were able to meet and spend time with 4 of the children currently at the center. A huge thank you to L Nicole for organizing this meaningful visit, and to L Patricia for joining us on the morning. Together, we continue making a difference!

Bottle tops collected today. I know, I know, I said no more collections till the new year if we can avoid it, but Darren needs his garage for his stuff 😜 They have now gone to Sonje's garage till the new year, I promised Janet she can have a clean yard till the new year 🤣🤣
