تم عقد الورشة الختامية لمشروع "تعزيز التعافي الاجتماعي والاقتصادي وتمكين منظمات المجتمع المدني التي تقودها النساء في بناء السلام" بمحافظة تعز، والذي نفذته مؤسسة للتنمية بالشراكة مع هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة اليمن - UN Women Yemen وبدعم من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني، بمشاركة ممثلين عن السلطة المحلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني وعدد من الجهات الشريكة والفاعلين في مجال التنمية وبناء السلام.
استعرضت الورشة أبرز إنجازات المشروع خلال عام من التنفيذ، والتي شملت تمكين النساء والشباب اقتصاديًا وتقنيًا، وبناء القدرات المؤسسية للمنظمات التي تقودها النساء، وتنفيذ مبادرات ومنح صغيرة أسهمت في تعزيز المشاركة المجتمعية ودعم جهود بناء السلام.
كما شهدت الورشة استعراض المشاريع والمنصات الرقمية التي طورها القادة التقنيون ضمن برنامج تدريبي مكثف، إلى جانب استعراض قصص نجاح والتدخلات المجتمعية التي نفذتها المنظمات المستهدفة في المشروع وأحدثت أثرًا في المجتمعات المحلية.
واختُتمت الورشة بتكريم 30 شابًا وشابة من القادة التقنيين، والتأكيد على أهمية مواصلة الاستثمار في النساء والشباب وتعزيز التحول الرقمي والتنمية المستدامة في محافظة #تعز .

The final workshop of the project “Enhancing Social and Economic Recovery and Empowering Women-Led Civil Society Organizations in Peacebuilding” was held in Taiz Governorate. The project was implemented by Sheba Youth Foundation for Development in partnership with UN Women and with support from the Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), with the participation of representatives from local authorities, civil society organizations, partner entities, and key actors in development and peacebuilding.
The workshop highlighted the project's key achievements over the past year, including the economic and technical empowerment of women and youth, strengthening the institutional capacities of women-led organizations, and supporting small grants and community initiatives that contributed to civic engagement and peacebuilding efforts.
The event also featured presentations of digital platforms and projects developed by the Technical Leaders through an intensive training program, alongside success stories and community interventions implemented by the targeted organizations, which generated positive impact within local communities.
The workshop concluded with the recognition of 30 Technical Leaders for their achievements and contributions, while emphasizing the importance of continued investment in women and youth, as well as advancing digital transformation and sustainable development in Governorate.

Sheba Youth Foundation for Development announces its intention to contract a consulting firm to: Develop a training manual on "Inclusive Participation, Peacebuilding, and Institutional Development for CSOs." within the framework of The Yemen Humanitarian and Resilience Program, implemented by the Foundation in partnership with Oxfam and funded by the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA).

شاركت مؤسسة للتنمية في ورشة مراجعة وتقييم خطة التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لمحافظة #تعز لعامي 2024-2025، وتحديد أولويات التدخلات لعامي 2026 - 2027، والتي عُقدت بمشاركة ممثلين عن السلطة المحلية،الوكالات الأممية، الجهات الحكومية، المنظمات الدولية، والقطاع الخاص، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني.

وخلال الورشة، تم عرض الفيلم الخاص بجهود الوساطة المحلية في ملف المياه، والذي يوثق جانبًا من التدخلات المجتمعية التي قادتها المؤسسة لتعزيز التماسك المجتمعي ودعم الحلول المحلية.

ونتطلع إلى مواصلة العمل والتنسيق مع السلطة المحلية والشركاء لتعزيز مسارات التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، ودعم الجهود التي تسهم في بناء مستقبل أكثر استدامة لمحافظة تعز.

ضمن مشروع "تعزيز التعافي الاجتماعي والاقتصادي وتمكين منظمات المجتمع المدني التي تقودها النساء في بناء السلام"،
تنفذ مؤسسة للتنمية، بالشراكة مع هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة اليمن - UN Women Yemen وبدعم من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني، تدريبًا متخصصًا حول:
"كتابة مقترحات المشاريع وكتابة التقارير للمنظمات المستهدفة ضمن المشروع"
ويهدف التدريب إلى تعزيز قدرات منظمات المجتمع المدني المستهدفة في إعداد المقترحات والتقارير بشكل يسهم في تطوير تدخلاتها وتعزيز دورها في دعم عملية التنمية وبناء السلام.

Within the “Enhancing Socio-Economic Recovery and Empowering Women-led Civil Society Organizations in Peacebuilding” project, Sheba Youth Foundation for Development, in partnership with UN Women and with support from the Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund, is implementing a specialized training on:
“Project Proposal Writing and Report Writing for Targeted Civil Society Organizations Within the Project”
The training aims to strengthen the capacities of targeted civil society organizations in developing proposals and reports in a way that contributes to improving their interventions and enhancing their role in supporting development and peacebuilding processes.

ببالغ الحزن والأسى، تنعى مؤسسة شباب سبأ للتنميه القائم بأعمال المدير التنفيذي للصندوق الاجتماعي للتنمية، الأستاذ وسام قائد، الذي اغتيل أمام منزله في مدينة عدن.

برحيله، خسر الوطن قامة تنموية بارزة، تركت بصمات واضحة في مجالات التعليم والصحة والبنية التحتية، وأسهمت جهوده في خدمة المجتمع وخلق فرص عمل للشباب.

إن هذا الفقد لا يمس أسرته ومحبيه فحسب، بل يشكّل خسارة كبيرة لمسار التنمية والعمل العام في اليمن.

نتقدم بأحر التعازي وصادق المواساة إلى أسرته الكريمة، وزملائه، وكل من عرفه وعمل معه، سائلين الله أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته، وأن يلهم أهله وذويه الصبر والسلوان.

ضمن زيارة سعادة سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي لدى اليمن والوفد المرافق له إلى مؤسسة شباب سبأ للتنمية في تعز، التقى الأستاذ سام البحيري، ممثل المجلس الثقافي للآداب والفنون، بالوفد وقدم لمحة عن المجلس ودوره كمنصة ثقافية تعمل ضمن مظلة مؤسسة شباب سبأ.

استعرض اللقاء رؤية المجلس في توظيف الثقافة والفنون والتراث كمدخل لتعزيز التماسك المجتمعي وبناء السلام، من خلال أربعة محاور رئيسية: الريادة الثقافية والاقتصاد الإبداعي، صون التراث المادي و اللامادي، والإنتاج الثقافي والفني وبناء سرديات السلام.

تؤمن مؤسسة شباب سبأ بأن الثقافة ليست مساحة فنية أو ترفا فحسب، إنما أداة مهمة لبناء الثقة، وحماية الذاكرة المحلية، وفتح مساحات جديدة لمشاركة الشباب والنساء في صناعة السلام والتنمية.

As part of the visit of the European Union Ambassador to Yemen and the accompanying delegation to Sheba Youth Foundation for Development in Taiz, Mr. Sam Al-Buhairi, representative of the Cultural Council for Arts and Literature, met with the delegation and presented an overview of the council and its role as a cultural platform operating under the umbrella of Sheba Youth Foundation.

The meeting highlighted the council’s vision of utilizing culture, arts, and heritage as an entry point to strengthen social cohesion and build peace, through four main pillars: cultural entrepreneurship and the creative economy, safeguarding tangible and intangible heritage, cultural and artistic production, and building narratives of peace.

Sheba Youth Foundation believes that culture is not merely an artistic space or a luxury, but rather an essential tool for building trust, preserving local memory, and creating new spaces for youth and women to actively participate in peacebuilding and development.

استقبلت مؤسسة للتنمية اليوم سعادة السفير "باتريك سيمونيه"، سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي لدى اليمن و European Union in Yemen بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي في اليمن، في زيارة إلى مقر المؤسسة في محافظة تعز، بحضور عدد من شركائنا من المكاتب الحكومية والجهات المحلية.

وشهد اللقاء حضور ممثلين عن الإدارة العامة لتنمية المرأة-تعز، و المؤسسة المحلية للمياه والصرف الصحي - محافظة تعز، وإدارة الأمن، لأهمية تكامل الأدوار بين مختلف الجهات لتعزيز الاستقرار ودعم جهود التنمية المحلية وبناء السلام.
قدّمت المؤسسة خلال اللقاء عرضًا موجزًا حول مسار عملها في بناء السلام وحوكمة الخدمات العامة، وتمكين النساء والشباب، والثقافة من أجل السلام، والتمكين الاقتصادي والرقمي، إلى جانب أبرز الدروس المستفادة من تجربة الوساطة المحلية، خاصة في ملف المياه كأحد النماذج العملية لبناء الثقة وتحسين الخدمات في السياقات المتأثرة بالنزاع.

كما ناقش اللقاء أهمية دعم الفاعلين المحليين، وتعزيز الشراكات التي تربط بين السلام والتنمية والخدمات العامة، بما يسهم في خلق أثر مستدام تقوده المجتمعات المحلية، وخاصة النساء والشباب.
تثمّن مؤسسة شباب سبأ هذه الزيارة، وتؤكد التزامها بمواصلة العمل مع شركائها المحليين والدوليين من أجل سلام مستدام وتنمية شاملة في تعز واليمن.

Today, Sheba Youth Foundation for Development had the honor of welcoming H.E. Ambassador Patrick Simonnet, Ambassador of the European Union to Yemen, along with his accompanying delegation, to the Foundation’s office in Taiz, in the presence of several of our partners from government offices and local entities.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Women’s Empowerment Department in Taiz Governorate, the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation, and the Security Administration - Taiz Governorate, highlighting the importance of coordinated roles among different stakeholders to strengthen stability, support local development efforts, and advance peacebuilding.

During the visit, Sheba Youth Foundation presented a brief overview of its work across key areas, including peacebuilding, governance of public services, women and youth empowerment, culture for peace, and economic and digital empowerment. The presentation also highlighted key lessons learned from local mediation experiences, particularly in the water sector, as a practical model for building trust and improving service delivery in conflict-affected contexts.

The discussion further emphasized the importance of supporting local actors and strengthening partnerships that connect peace, development, and public services, contributing to sustainable, community-led impact—especially driven by women and youth.

Sheba Youth Foundation values this visit and reaffirms its commitment to continuing collaboration with local and international partners to promote sustainable peace and inclusive development in Taiz and Yemen.
