Rotorua Trust supporting the mahi. 🌱

Thanks to Rotorua Trust, Para Kore has been connecting whānau across Rotorua with practical, kaupapa Māori solutions for a healthier Papatūānuku. 🌏♻️

From reclaiming menstrual mātauranga and supporting māmā with reusable nappies for pēpi, to reindigenising our food systems, these wānanga are inspiring real change!

Whānau and rangatahi have been learning how to turn kai scraps into compost, make the most of leftovers, preserve seasonal kai and transform surplus apples into apple c***r vinegar. They’re also exploring the whakapapa of kai, sharing traditional knowledge and finding practical ways to reduce waste at home and in their communities. 🌱🍎

He mihi nui ki a Rotorua Trust, for helping us share mātauranga Māori, strengthen whānau wellbeing and create positive change for our communities and Papatūānuku. 💚
