MOU SIGNING BETWEEN CARITAS SAMOA AND THE SAMOA WATER AUTHORITY
Caritas Samoa and the Samoa Water Authority today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalise their partnership in implementing the Enhancing Water Access, Safety and Health (EWASH) Project.
The partnership marks an important step towards improving access to safe and reliable water, strengthening sanitation and hygiene practices, and supporting improved health and wellbeing for the most vulnerable individuals, families and communities across Samoa.
Under the MOU, Caritas Samoa and the Samoa Water Authority will work collaboratively to support the effective implementation of the EWASH Project. The Samoa Water Authority will provide valuable technical knowledge and expertise to help ensure that project activities are delivered effectively and sustainably.
The EWASH Project is funded by Australian Aid through Caritas Australia, our sisters in Christ. Caritas Samoa gratefully acknowledges their generosity, solidarity and continued partnership, which have been instrumental in making this important initiative possible.
Through this partnership, Caritas Samoa and the Samoa Water Authority reaffirm their commitment to delivering meaningful and sustainable outcomes that promote health, dignity and resilience for Samoa’s most vulnerable communities.
