We had a wonderful visit Sunday with Community Congregational Church in Franklin, Indiana. They have been long time supporters, investing in the childrens lives in the House of Blessings and the local community. We are so thankful for their on-going partnership. God is so good!

NIGHTLY DEVOTION AND PRAYER

Psalm 139:1
“Lord, you have searched me, and you know me.”

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 139
Tonight’s psalm draws our hearts toward being known. In Psalm 139:1, we are reminded of resting in God’s intimate care. This scripture gives us a steady place to end the day, turning our attention away from hurry, fear, and distraction and back toward the Lord. God meets us in His Word with truth for our minds, comfort for our hearts, and direction for our steps. Take a moment to sit with this verse from Psalm 139. Breathe out the weight of the day, and breathe in the peace of God’s presence. Let this scripture shape your thoughts tonight and lead you into rest.

PRAYER
Lord, you have searched me, and you know me.
Psalm 139:1 KJV
Oh Lord, what a glorious thing to be known by You. You are acquainted with all my intimate thoughts, most significant failures, and fervent hopes for the future. You intricately wove me together in my mother’s womb and mapped out greatness for me to walk in. I take great comfort in Your intimate presence in my life. Wherever I am, You are there. Whether I ascend to the heights of success or descend into the depths of despair, You are there! Your love is always accessible. Your comfort is always available. My worth is in You, and my destiny is in Your will. As I lay down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would search my heart for iniquity and cleanse me from corrupting thoughts. Draw out all the apathy, shame, and sin keeping me from walking in Your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Give thanks to The Lord, for he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever.

Dear Lord, as I lay down to rest, I am humbled by Your might and power. You created the heavens and the earth and all that dwells within. Your hands crafted the stars and wove the fabric of the universe. Yet, You listen to my humble prayers and care for me daily. Tonight, I thank You for Your love that surpasses all understanding. Your steadfast love endures forever, and I am grateful for this gift. As I close my eyes, I rest, knowing that Your power is greater than any storm, the thrones of governments, and the shifting sands of culture. You are my rock, my salvation, my comfort. NIGHTLY PRAYER

Let the redeemed by The Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary.
Psalm 107:2 KJV

Dear God, as I ease my head into my pillow to pray, I humbly ask for Your calming presence to fill my chaotic soul. My heart is heavy, and my mind is burdened with worries, fears, and doubts. I long for Your soft touch to soothe my restless mind and grant me the peace that surpasses all understanding. I feel lost in this darkness, and I can't find the way out on my own. But I know that You are the light that leads me to safety. I ask that You guide me out of this storm and into the serenity of Your loving embrace. May the weight of my troubles be lifted from my shoulders, and may I find rest in You. Give me the strength to trust in Your endless mercy and to walk with faith through whatever struggles may come. May Your gentle voice whisper words of grace and love into my ear as I rest at Your feet. For You are the source of all goodness and truth, and I find my peace in You. Thank You, Lord, for Your unending love and Your faithfulness. May Your light shine upon me and lead me to the quiet rest that only You can give. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

NIGHTLY PRAYER!

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!
Psalm 98:4 KJV

Dear God, I am reminded of Your greatness and power as I lay down to sleep. Just as the sea roars and everything in it sing Your praises, may my heart be filled with the same awe and wonder. Let the rivers of my soul clap their hands, and let my spirit sing for joy in Your Presence. Lord, I know You are coming to judge the earth with righteousness and equity, and I pray that my life reflects Your holiness when that day approaches. Help me to walk in Your ways and be faithful to Your commands from morning’s light to the fading gleam of night. Thank You for Your love and provision in my life. I commit everything to You tonight and always. In Jesus’ holy name, I pray, Amen. 2026 PRAY‌.‌COM
