WOW… WE ARE STILL SPEECHLESS!
What an INCREDIBLE night at our 6th Annual Día de los Mu***os celebration! We are still on such a high from Saturday's event, and our hearts are so full!
The entire Colorado River State Historic Park came to life with vibrant colors, beautiful traditions, music, dancing, stunning Catrinas, meaningful altars, and our community murals! Everywhere you looked, there was something beautiful happening, and seeing our community come together to celebrate culture, honor loved ones, and create lasting memories was truly something special!
We have SO MANY people to thank for making this year's celebration one to remember!
First, a HUGE thank you to our Title Sponsor, Hyundai of Yuma Your continued support means so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment to our community. To ALL of our amazing sponsors, THANK YOU for helping us make this year's event even bigger and better than last year! We truly couldn't do it without you!
And can we talk about that ENTERTAINMENT?!
A HUGE thank you to Selena - Amor Prohibido– for putting on an absolutely AMAZING show! You had the crowd singing, dancing, and celebrating all night long!
Thank you to the Chavez Family Band for an incredible performance, the Gadsden Mariachi Band for welcoming our guests with beautiful music, and Glam Dance Studio by Cindy for sharing their wonderful folklórico performances!
A special thank you to Chicano Ink Cultural Center for opening and closing our celebration with meaningful cultural ceremonies that made the evening even more special.
To all of our food and retail vendors, THANK YOU for bringing delicious food, unique items, and so much more to the celebration!
To everyone who participated in our Catrina and Altar Contests, contributed to our community murals, volunteered, worked behind the scenes, or helped bring this event to life, we appreciate you more than you know!
And finally, TO OUR COMMUNITY… THANK YOU!
Thank you for showing up, celebrating with us, supporting our vendors, embracing the traditions, and making this event what it is today. Seeing the park filled with families, friends, laughter, music, and so much love is exactly why we do what we do!
We are still smiling, still talking about all the beautiful moments, and already looking forward to next year!
From all of us at the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area, THANK YOU for making our 6th Annual Día de los Mu***os a night we will never forget!
