The Yuma CARES Coalition unites community partners, prevention leaders, and mental health
professionals to promote wellness, resilience, and recovery across Yuma County. Our plan of action is to:
*Prevent access to and the misuse of substances.
*Educate every segment of our community to understand the consequences of the misuse and abuse of substances.
*Provide resources for treatment or treatment protocols for users.
*Commit to continued enforcement of laws to reduce the misuse and abuse and availability of substances.
*Eliminate the victimization caused by misuse and abuse of users to our community’s children and families

November is about connection. ❤️ Families, military families, veterans, and neighbors all play an important role in building a healthier Yuma County. This month, YCADC is focusing on the power of connection, communication, compassion, and support—and how those connections can help prevent substance misuse and promote wellness. From the homes we share to the communities we build, prevention starts with all of us. Connection starts at home. Connection strengthens community. 💙 Connection Is Prevention.

❤️🎀 RED RIBBON WEEK FUN AT PALMCROFT! 🐾🚨🎉

WOW! What an AMAZING assembly at Palmcroft Elementary School! Our Yuma County Anti-Drug Coalition had an absolute blast celebrating Red Ribbon Week with some pretty special HEROES! 🌟

🐾 Tracker the K9 Mascot joined us with our awesome US Border Patrol Yuma Sector team!

🐶 McGruff the Crime Dog brought the fun with YPG Police!

🎤 And our incredible presenters brought the energy, excitement, and powerful messages about making healthy choices and staying drug-free!

The BEST part? The AMAZING students at Palmcroft! Their enthusiasm, smiles, and excitement made this an OVER-THE-TOP assembly to remember! ❤️🙌

A HUGE thank-you to Palmcroft Elementary for welcoming us back year after year! We absolutely LOVE being part of your Red Ribbon Week celebrations! 🥰

💙 A Day of Connection, Wellness & Community! 💙

YCADC had a fantastic day at the Yuma County Health Fair! 🎉

We loved spending the day engaging with Yuma County Government employees, sharing valuable prevention and wellness resources, and having meaningful conversations about making healthy choices and supporting one another! 💪💚

A huge thank you to Yuma County for bringing everyone together and creating an opportunity to promote health, wellness, and prevention in the workplace!
