We’re turning the page to an exciting new chapter! Our Family Promise page will soon be deleted as we officially transition to Seeds of Hope for Yucaipa-Calimesa. While our name is changing, our heart mission remains the same we are still the same dedicated nonprofit, serving families with school-age children in Yucaipa and Calimesa- now with a name that better reflects our commitment to meeting the unique needs of our local community. We’re so excited for what ahead and can’t wait to grow together. Please be sure to follow our new page and stay tuned for great things to come. Family Promise and this world has lost our fearless leader Chris Hallenbeck . She was a God loving and serving woman that impacted the lives of so many. Her passion to help others showed in her lifetime of work, volunteer and worship. She was a pioneer for many things throughout her life, here at FP she was the catalyst that lead us through our passion of helping the needy families of our school district.

We send our most deepest condolences to her family and friends.
If you would like to attend her Celebration of Life, all are invited. The event will take place at Parkview Middle School in Yucaipa CA.
Chris had many passions besides her family. They've asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to any of the 3 non profits she was currently involved in.

Musical entertainment was provided by Sarah Ayotte, vocalist, Craig Zuppan, bass, John Browning, keys and Olin Richey, percussionist.
We were both blessed and honored to have this talented group provide dinner music at the Gala! The fall themed selections were beautifully performed. Many thanks for being part of our inaugural event!

In our Yucaipa Calimesa School District we now have 39 students that live in a car, unsheltered, hotel /motel or shelter facility.
This holiday season we like to relieve some of the worries these students and their families carry on a day to day basis. By providing temporary shelter, warm foods, clothes and baths. Connect them with resources and guide them to better job stability, so that they may help themselves.

We can't thank Hops & Spokes Brewing Company enough for putting this fun fundraiser together to help the cause.

These 16 students from the Yucaipa BLOCK Y students, volunteered their Saturday and worked the whole night to help make this event a great success.
We can't thank them enough for their hard work, professionalism and dedication.
Heard some attendees asking them some questions and their answers were very interesting and sincere.

Family Promise of Yucaipa/Calimesa had their 1st Gala on October 15th at the Yucaipa Community Center. The rain and possible evacuation didn't stop the attendees from coming to support the homeless students from the Yucaipa/Calimesa School District. We heard the gratitude from the first Family Promise Family that was helped. They are now University Student and Alumni. The board is proud to be part of this success story and the ones to follow, all THANKS to the Community help and resources. Be ready for the flood of posts to follow , to see all who helped make this night such a HUGE success.
