In July, we experienced a truly special blessing at our headquarters in Yucaipa. ❤️

Meet Tewodros Lebryonannes, a blind recipient from Ethiopia whose story is a beautiful reminder of the far-reaching impact of God’s Word.

Tewodros received his first Bible when he was just four years old. As he read it throughout his life, he dreamed of one day visiting the place printed in its pages: Yucaipa, California.

Thirty years later, that dream became a reality.

Without prior notice or arrangements, Tewodros arrived at our facility with two companions, eager to step inside the place that had meant so much to him throughout his life. Nate had the opportunity to guide them on a tour, where they could see and feel how the materials are made.

For Tewodros, being able to touch the Word of God was deeply meaningful. His joy and excitement were unmistakable. He also shared his hope that more Braille Scripture materials could one day be sent to Ethiopia so others might have the same opportunity to access God’s Word.

Tewodros left with a huge smile, a heart full of gratitude, and some new shirts and merchandise. He is also hoping to receive a new Bible in the Amharic language.

What a beautiful reminder that the work being done here in Yucaipa reaches lives across the world. 🌎 And through God’s Word, hope, joy, and connection continue to reach people everywhere.

We are grateful for the opportunity to meet Tewodros and share in this unforgettable moment.

God’s Word knows no boundaries. 🙏📖❤️
