Since 1978, this game has meant more than football.

This June 20th, Lions Clubs of District 4-C1 host the 49th Annual Lions High School All-Star Football Game of Northern California at Foothill High School in Redding.

North versus South. The region's best graduating seniors. Two games. One unforgettable night.

But the real story is what happens off the field. Every dollar raised goes directly to Lions Camp McCumber a transformative summer camp experience for children living with Type 1 Diabetes. For many of these kids, it's the first time they've ever been surrounded by peers who understand exactly what they're going through.
That's what Lions do. We create moments that matter on the field and in the community.

Bike Around the Buttes is next Saturday, May 2nd. An easy, low elevation spin. E-bikes are welcome. Check us out at bikearoundthebuttes.com

Sutter Buttes, the Smallest Mountain Range on Earth, is the star. Routes of 20, 40, 70 and 100 Miles. The hills will be green and there is only one small climb with an easy grade on Pass Road. Our rest areas are frequent, well stocked and serviced by Lions Club volunteers.

Dinner is catered by French Wisk with three options, including vegetarian and there will be live music to go with your beer or preferred beverage.

There are plenty of prizes drawn from your rider numbers including an e-bike donated by Vans Bicycles of Yuba City.

This event is put on by the Northern California Lions Clubs Health Foundation to support our efforts for those with diabetes.
