"Truth from God's Word"... Romans 14:1đź“–
Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.
Stop Arguing! â›”
Did you ever hear two kids arguing over which one was more right or more mature? It is unnerving to listen to and typically doesn’t accomplish anything productive. The pride of both kids gets in the way of them truly loving each other. Unfortunately, many of us Christians are guilty of the same kind of squabbling. At the time Paul wrote Romans, food was a big issue for the Christians. Some foods were considered holy, and others unholy. Also, certain days were considered by some to be more holy than others. They would judge each other based off their own beliefs and interpretations of scripture. They would shame those who didn’t believe the same and segregate themselves from each other. What things do we Christians argue over today? Things like styles of worship, gifts of the Holy Spirit, dancing, clothes, tattoos, translations of the Bible, if women can be pastors … and the list could go on. Child of God, we’ve got to stop squabbling with each other and judging one another. Leave room for the Holy Spirit to bring conviction if conviction is needed. Be open to God speaking to your heart about areas of wrong thinking. đź’
Verse four says, “Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.” ✝️
We are each on our own journey of faith. We are each a work in progress. Thank God for His amazing grace and unconditional love towards each of us!❤️
